The first Android tablet of Sony (which should be called S1 or S2, it is still unclear which of them will) will arrive in Europe at the end of September. The news comes directly from a private note sent by the Sony marketing team, and intercepted by Engadget. The note unfortunately not revealed in the final name of the tablet and pre-orders will start from August. Sony really has announced two tablets in April, promising a launch in the autumn. Both the Sony S1 and S2 are the Sony already passed FCC approval, but since then we have not had reliable information. The Sony S1 is characterized by a curved design, while the S2 is equipped with dual-touchscreen. Perhaps Sony will launch a short distance from each other, but the plans are not leaked. We Europeans we will have to wait until September before they get their hands on Sony’s Android tablet, but we hope that soon spread further details. I’m curious in particular the price that Sony could have a terminal, perhaps with double touch.

Speaking of Windows tablet currently on the market are several examples including the ones reviewed here at Gadgetblog: MSI and Acer WindPad Icon Tab W500. Windows 7, however, is not an operating system with IOS or Android Honeycomb and offers great opportunities to interact via touch screen. According to Bloomberg, however, things are about to change. Microsoft was working on a tablet based on NVIDIA’s Tegra platform with enhanced touch interface similar to Windows Phone. Someone can be assumed that Windows 8, however, is scheduled for the second half of 2012. According to rumors, the tablet will be shown next week, a bit early for an OS that will come out next year … we just have to wait and find out the veracity of these rumors!
Change of price HannsPad SN10T1, the tablet Android 2.2 by Dual-Core Tegra 2. From € 349 to which it could find, HannsPad now comes to 299 €, good price considering the dual-core processor on board, 10.1-inch screen and HDMI connector. Sure, Android 2.2 can not go to the genius who wants to use 3.0 Honeycomb and screen to 1024 x 600 pixels does not meet the definition of Xoom and other more expensive models, but if you search for a cheap tablet Android, the new price rises HannsPad the bar of quality / price ratio for this model. Toshiba has dropped from its production plans and to support Chromebook tablet with OS Windows 7, at least according to some revelations. The roadmap does not mention the company in fact the two projects together eliminated, leaving only the tablet with immediate production in Android 3.0. The Windows model was shown at CES in January, but the hardware has been delayed (we do not know whether to be used with other platform, or because of all deleted). The notebook has been dropped Chrome OS primarily for hands-on experience: the AC100 smartbook Toshiba has been a flop in the market, then the company goes back to being “conservative”and sees only the OS Web Google a repeat of the done in the past. These revelations have not yet been officially confirmed, however the exclusion of a tablet with Windows 7 is a blow to Microsoft by one of the most loyal partner.
