The latest is the home GScreen Spacebook 17. As the name suggests, this notebook is equipped with 17-inch screen. In fact, screens: has two, like all Spacebook (there are also previous versions, with two 15.2-inch monitor). The solution of the dual-monitor does not favor a certain lightness and portability: over four pounds, five centimeters thick good (when you close the slide monitors, one behind the other), do not invite you to take him under your umbrella.
The product, among other things, is not exactly cheap, ranging from $ 2395 to 2795. But paradoxically, it is better to spend 2795, given the considerable difference in hardware between the two machines. With the same size monitor and, in fact, the first has an Intel i5 and four GB of RAM, while the second has a i7 with eight gigabytes.
Same as the rest of the configuration: 500 GB HD, GeForce GTS 250M video card with a gig of dedicated memory. Particularly interesting: GScreen not provide data on battery life. Considering all factors, the only reasonable use of a “portable” is to kind of graphics workstations (especially audio-video) transport, which makes you want to choose the i7 processor and more RAM. Or, if you prefer, you can relegate to the luxury gadgets.
